“The Softening”
Casting is underway for “The Softening,” an independent thriller-horror film that follows a man whose wife disappears suddenly and is replaced by a strange woman claiming to be his wife. Talent, aged 18–80, are wanted for several supporting, day player, and background roles, including Rachel, the wife of the protagonist. Casting will take place in late February and early March in the Greater Philadelphia area, with filming to follow. Pay is $200 per week.

“Imposter Syndrome”
“Imposter Syndrome,” a documentary series featuring a master impersonator, is seeking talent. Celebrity doppelgängers and impersonators, aged 18 and older, are wanted at this time. Interviews will take place in person or via Zoom. Pay is $50–$100.

“Something Rotten!”
Waterfront Playhouse in Key West, Florida, is casting a role in its production of the musical “Something Rotten!” A female actor, age 18–25, is wanted to play the principal role of Portia. Rehearsals will begin on Feb. 14, followed by performances March 22–April 16. Pay is $200 per week for rehearsals and $75 per performance, with a travel stipend and housing provided.
