Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, Anaheim and Baton Rouge, Dancers & Vocalists

Creative Studios by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings is currently casting talent in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Anaheim, California, to join entertainment-at-sea productions. Vocalists and dancers, aged 18–40, are wanted to audition at this time. There will be auditions by appointment and open casting calls on June 25–26 in Anaheim and July 7 in Baton Rouge. Rehearsals will take place in Tampa, Florida, for various six-to-eight month contracts onboard cruise ships. Pay is $800 per week for dancers and $1100 for vocalists with rehearsals paid at two-thirds the performance rate.

“Dirty Dancing in Concert”

Quatro Entertainment Inc. is seeking talent for “Dirty Dancing in Concert,” the classic film’s first live film-to-concert experience. Strong New York City-based rock/pop singers, aged 18–35, are wanted for the production, which will rehearse in mid-October with production beginning on Oct. 23 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and ending on Dec. 4 in Savannah, Georgia. Pay is $800 per week for rehearsals and $1,600 per week for production with single hotel rooms and a daily stipend provided.

Summer Contract In Maine, Female Singer/Dancer

Tag Live is seeking talent for the 2022 season at Pointe Sebago in Casco, Maine. A talented female singer-dancer, age 18–35, is wanted to perform in productions and cabarets, as well as host various activities throughout the week. Rehearsals and performances will take place in Casco. Pay is $550 per week for 16 weeks of work with lodging provided.

“Legally Blonde” Non-Union Tour

Casting is underway for the non-union tour of “Legally Blonde: The Musical.” Actors, aged 22–32, are wanted for principal and ensemble roles, including the roles of Elle and Emmett. Rehearsals will begin on Sept. 20 in New York City with the tour scheduled to run from Oct. 14 through April 2023. Pay is $500–$600 per week for shows, $600 per week for rehearsals, and a per diem provided while on tour.

“Hits!” National Tour

RGJ Productions is casting talent for the national tour of “Hits!,” a high-energy musical production featuring America’s best young superstars. Singers-dancers of all genders, aged 8–21, are wanted for the tour. Talent must be skilled in pop, rock, and Broadway styles. Auditions will be held in various cities across the U.S., including New York City, Boston, Lousiville, Cleveland, and more, between June 4 and Aug. 11. Rehearsals will take place on Oct. 20–Nov. 18 and Jan. 15–Feb. 28 in Tampa, Florida, followed by previews on Feb. 22–25 and performances on March 1–May 11 at various locations. Pay is $500 per week for performances and $1,000–$2,000 per week plus a $50 per diem for rehearsals with flight, hotels, and meals compensated.

Vocal Instrument Software, Nonbinary Singer

A nonbinary singer, age 18 or older, is wanted for an English language digital vocal software that accurately recreates the human voice. Talent will record remotely by the end of August. Pay is $6,000–$12,000.

“On National Road: A New Musical”

EC250.org is currently seeking talent for a new musical celebrating Ellicott City’s 250th anniversary. Talent, aged 16 and older, is wanted for various principal and ensemble roles, including George Ellicott, Babe Ruth, and more. Invitation-only in-person auditions will be held on June 22–29 with callbacks scheduled on June 30 if needed. Talent will rehearse on Oct. 3–Dec. 7, followed by performances on Dec. 8–18 in the Baltimore, Maryland, area. Pay is $1,020–$2,520 for six weeks of work for principal actors. Pay for ensemble roles is TBD.

“The Forge Sings Disney”

Casting is underway for “The Forge Sings Disney” at The Forge: Lemont Quarries. Chicago-based musical theatre performers, aged 18–40, are wanted at this time. Rehearsals and performances will take place in Downers Grove and Lemont, Illinois. Pay is $150 for four days of work.

“Take That” Tribute, Male Dancer/Singer

Male dancers-singers, aged 25–55, are wanted for a Take That tribute show. Talent will work in England with dates TBD. Pay is £200 per show.

“Sesame Street Live!” - Vocalists

Feld Entertainment is seeking talent for “Sesame Street Live!” A male vocalist, age 18 or older, is wanted to play the role of Justin, a big brother type to many of the residents of Sesame Street. Auditions will be held in New York City on June 20 and in Orlando on June 24. Rehearsals will begin on Aug. 29 in Florida. Pay is $830 per week with benefits and domestic travel provided.
